You’ll notice we shipped Seamless Pipe to Florida in 2009. Since then we’ve had a lot of inquiries for Seamless Pipes from the States, but due to the heavy Anti Dumping Duty (ADD) levied on Seamless Steel Pipes, it simply doesn’t make any sense for U.S. customers to import directly from us in China, despite initially attractive Seamless Pipe Prices.
There are, however, ways of getting round this issue. If you are to import China Seamless Pipe to the U.A.E. first and change the certificate of origin, then the ADD on the Seamless Pipes can be avoided. If you’re from the U.S. and have an agent or warehouse in the U.A.E., then it’d be worthwhile requesting a quote from us for Seamless Pipes CFR Dubai, or Jebel Ali etc, because ADD aside, we have competitive Seamless Pipe Prices.
